This is an excellent heartwood grade recommend for uses around the home, garden and general construction. It shall have mostly heartwood except an occasional piece with sapwood showing on one side of the corner of the board. This shall be graded from the best face. Some characteristics of this lumber are knots~tight either sound or unsound, spike knots, stain, crook, cup, shake, and some splits.
